Stonemasonry

Bonawe Quarry was a huge influence in the parish.

We have a lot to learn about the trade of stonemasonry.

The descendants of the men who worked there will have their unique personal stories; there are professional craft organisations and references to study; there are library resources to research. All contributions are welcome.

It would be fascinating to organise some courses and workshops in the future to learn more.

In the meantime, we will add random notes here. Feel free to add more.
