Ardchattan is bounded by 2 significant and unique sea lochs
Loch Creran to the North and Loch Etive to the South.

There are a number of little lochs

  • Lochan Dudh : (1871 Ordnance survey) A small sheet of water situated in the moss about 3 miles north of Connell & about ½ a mile west of public road from thence to Shian Sig. [Signification] Black Loch.1
  • Lochanabeith : North Connel
  • Glendhu - a glen that was flooded to create a fresh water damn for the local water supply, now part of the walks from Sutherlands Grove.
