At St Conan's Kirk there is a list of men who were involved in the Boer War, not all were killed. It is not sure who they are or why they are remembered in the church.
There are several plaques in Inveraray Church listing names of men from across Argyll who where involved including
- Captain R. W. B. Clark Campbell Preston (of Ardchattan), 3rd Bn. Black Watch
- Lieutenant Ian Alastair Campbell (Barcaldine), 2nd Bn. Gordon Highlanders
- Lieutenant Alex. Andrew Lochnell Campbell (Lochnell), 4th Bn. Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders
- Lieutenant Ronald Bruce Campbell (Inverawe), Canadian Contingent (Duke of Cornwall’s L.I.)
