Connel Ferry to Ballachulish railway Line

The Connel Ferry to Ballachulish Railway line connected to the Oban to Glasgow line, across the Connel Bridge, finally opened in 1904, was primarily established to access the high quality slate from Ballachulish, but created a profound change in all the communities along the line.
It closed, along with many others with the Beeching Cuts in 1966
