Ardentinny

Ardentinny is one of the few buildings marked on the Roy Map of 1745, lying close to the Isle of Eriska.
It was clearly a substantial and significant dwelling, and may well have been a crossing point for livestock from Lismore and Morvern in the past.
Close to the settlement is a Chalebeate spring which turns the tidal mud bright orange.

Most of the buildings are now in ruins, complete with remnants of cruck frames, and the house is an off grid bothy, an idyllic location
