The Parish is large, sited between Loch Etive and Loch Creran, including the north side of the River Awe, around Ben Cruachan to Allt Mhoille and along the watersheds of Loch then Glen Etive to Kingshouse.
The actual geographic area has changed over the years, in political terms, in school board terms, in Ecclesiastical terms. One of many parts of the research will be to determine these changes with their dates.
