Colin Campbell 1644-1726 of Achnaba, son of Para Beg of Barcaldine, starts his 65 year ministry of Ardchattan parish at Baile Mhaodain

Rev. Campbell has been described as the 'most illustrious and longest-serving of all the ministers of Ardchattan and Muckairn'. He would have preached in both Baileveden and the Priory Churches, as well as across Loch Etive in Muckairn.1
